ISLAMABAD: State head Shehbaz Sharif conceded a one-year expansion to the term of Air Boss Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, The News revealed Monday.
The head sent the synopsis with respect to the air boss' augmentation to President Asif Ali Zardari which he endorsed on Sunday night.
After the endorsement of the president, PM Shehbaz conceded a one-year expansion to ACM Sidhu, who will lead the flypast on the Pakistan Day March on Walk 23.
ACM Zaheer Babar, who assumed control over the order of Pakistan Flying corps (PAF) on Walk 19, 2021 is the sixteenth boss and he planned to resign on Walk 18 (today).
Brought into the world on April 16, 1965, Air Marshal Sidhu was charged in GD(P) Part of PAF in April, 1986. During his profession, he has instructed a Warrior Unit, a Flying Wing, a Functional Air Base and Local Air Order.
