TORONTO: A fourth individual has been captured and accused of the homicide of Sikh dissenter pioneer Hardeep Singh Nijjar last year, Canadian police said on Saturday, for a situation that stressed strategic relations with India.

Canadian police recently captured and charged three Indian men in the city of Edmonton in Alberta and said they were testing whether the men had connections to the Indian government.

The Coordinated Crime Examination Group (IHIT) declared Saturday that Amandeep Singh, 22, has been accused of first-degree murder and trick to perpetrate murder in Nijjar's killing.

Singh, an Indian public who dwelled in Brampton, Surrey and Abbotsford, was at that point in authority for irrelevant guns charges out of Strip, Ontario, IHIT said.

Nijjar, 45, was shot dead in June outside a Sikh sanctuary in Surrey, a Vancouver suburb with an enormous Sikh populace. A couple of months after the fact, Canadian State leader Justin Trudeau refered to what he said was proof of potential Indian government inclusion, provoking a political emergency with New Delhi.

Nijjar was a Canadian resident lobbying for the production of Khalistan, a free Sikh country cut out of India. The presence of Sikh dissident gatherings in Canada has long baffled New Delhi, which had named Nijjar a "psychological oppressor".
